SPOTLIGHT SESSIONS: PRIVATE VIDEO INSTRUCTION SO YOU CAN GET VIDEO FEEDBACK IN BETWEEN YOUR LESSONS
WE WORK FOR A MINIMUM OF EITHER 3 OR 6 MONTHS AND ONWARDS FROM THERE TO ENSURE YOU REACH THE NEXT LEVEL IN YOUR SINGING

For singers with prior experience who are ready to step into the spotlight. You’ll work on your confidence while performing, stage presence, and bringing a song to life on stage like a singing actor.

– You’ve sung before (took lessons, was in a choir, etc.)
– You want to perform but feel nervous doing it
– You have a song you want to nail on stage

This series comes directly from my passion for classical music. Across all periods and composers, I’m wildly enthusiastic about it. To me, classical music is the one genre that ironically never gets old.
Some of the most meaningful moments in my professional career have come from conversations with colleagues about what we hear in the music we perform and how it inspires us. Behind the Notes is my way of sharing that experience with you.
Over eight weeks, we’ll:
- Return to timeless works and hear them with fresh ears
- Share the kinds of conversations musicians have with each other backstage
- Listen more deeply, noticing the musical & thematic layers that enrich the experience
I hope our time together will make classical music feel relevant and alive to you. I want you to feel as connected to this music—so old, yet so vital today—as I do.
